~ A DAY OF SHAMANIC BREATHWORK™ ~

Saturday, October 31, 2009: 10 am – 6 pm

Waitsfield, Vermont

In the Shamanic BreathworkProcess we enter sacred space and shamanic time to awaken our slumbering vision of our Soul’s True Purpose. Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful healing tool that integrates ancient shamanic wisdom with modern-day healing practices. In this workshop we will employ the power of the breath, chakra-attuned music, focused bodywork, the creation of mandala art, and group sharing to heal our body, soul, and spirit.

Join us for a day of visioning and healing transformation as we dive deeply into the creative matrix that sustains and is behind all of creation. This is an opportunity for each of us—as a spiritual seeker, healer, teacher, planetary worker, and/or visionary—to connect with and awaken our own Inner Shaman at a profound level that perhaps has never been accessed before. The power of the breathwork will activate our Shakti (Life Force Energy) and release blockages of energy while moving us to higher levels of consciousness and integrating aspects of our souls that have been fragmented due to stress, illness, heartbreak and/or trauma. None of us can take others to a place of healing that we have not surpassed ourselves. The time for inner work is upon all of us, no matter who we are or what we have learned thus far. This is the time to finally move forward and do what we came to beautiful planet Earth to do.  All the work that each of us does, to transform and spiritually evolve our consciousness, benefits not only us, but the whole world and beyond. As the Native Americans say, “For seven generations forward we do these acts of healing.”

Bring an open heart and mind. Also bring your lunch, water bottle, journal, pillow, yoga mat, or sleeping bag and blanket (you will be lying upon your mat for about an hour during an inner shamanic journey and you will want to be comfortable). Dress comfortably as if you are going to a yoga session.

This summer I will be raising money to cure cancer.  Sponsor me (Amy) and help Dana Farber Cancer Institute search for a cure.  See the statistics below.  Spread love and good karma.

Sincerely and with Gratitude - Amy

One in three people will face cancer in his or her lifetime, but no one has to face it alone.  On September 13th, 2009, the participants of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will change the odds for patients facing all forms of cancer.  Please support our efforts by giving generously.

The walk supports the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  In 2008, Dana-Farber conducted 264, 577 pediatric and adult patient visits and infusions and offered more than 735 therapeutic clinical trials.  Every day our scientists are pushing towards groundbreaking new discoveries as our compassionate caregivers treat our hopeful patients.

Cancer touches all of us, and we must stop this disease in its tracks.  Every dollar I raise in another step along the road of finding cures for cancer.  Please support my efforts by giving generously and help reach the ultimate finish line:  a world without cancer!

Join our team and be part of this exciting and profound adventure, Team Midstate Hyundai of Vermont.  It is a lot of work (walking 26.2 miles) and it is worth it.

Yesterday, Michael Hartman, the Commissioner of Mental Health for the State of Vermont, joined ‘Connect’ to discuss the care of our veterans, Vermont research results on substance use and depression in our teenagers, depression & anxiety of all ages throughout Vermont, suicide, mental health care services & where to turn if in need and more.
