Gary talked about the childhood of loss and abandonment that impacted John Lennon’s life. John’s rise to rock and roll fame was reviewed. We discussed how ‘unexpectedly’ John had found that everything was not enough and experienced a dark night of the soul. His journey from despair to peace is an intriguing one.
