This summer I will be raising money to cure cancer.  Sponsor me (Amy) and help Dana Farber Cancer Institute search for a cure.  See the statistics below.  Spread love and good karma.

Sincerely and with Gratitude - Amy

One in three people will face cancer in his or her lifetime, but no one has to face it alone.  On September 13th, 2009, the participants of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will change the odds for patients facing all forms of cancer.  Please support our efforts by giving generously.

The walk supports the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  In 2008, Dana-Farber conducted 264, 577 pediatric and adult patient visits and infusions and offered more than 735 therapeutic clinical trials.  Every day our scientists are pushing towards groundbreaking new discoveries as our compassionate caregivers treat our hopeful patients.

Cancer touches all of us, and we must stop this disease in its tracks.  Every dollar I raise in another step along the road of finding cures for cancer.  Please support my efforts by giving generously and help reach the ultimate finish line:  a world without cancer!

Join our team and be part of this exciting and profound adventure, Team Midstate Hyundai of Vermont.  It is a lot of work (walking 26.2 miles) and it is worth it.

Abby Seixas, author of ‘Finding the Deep River Within,’ discussed her work in helping individuals find balance in their life.  This work includes accessing a deeper part of yourself, that will then nourish you for life on the surface.  Melody Beattie, author of ‘Codependent No More’ and ‘The New Codependency,’ joined us again to discuss the role of spirituality in her recovery.  Thank you to both woman for sharing their wisdom with us.

The previous week, we spoke with Scott Miller, financial analyst, about the economy and budgeting our money.  Sandy Morningstar, body-centered therapist, discussed some intriguing concepts.  Thank you both.  Join us next week when we explore the mind, body, soul, and spirit.  Saturday morning at 9am 1450am WSNO.  Call and Connect.

Sincerely - Amy

This week Melody talked about Codependency and her most recent book, ‘The New Codependency.’  Melody was incredibly open about her struggles that inspired her work.  Stay tuned in for the transcript of our conversation.  It was wonderful to speak with Melody about such an important topic.  Her books have significantly influenced my life and my work.  Thank you Melody!

Join us Saturday 9am 1450am WSNO.
